Lake Turkana Wind Power says it didn't cause outage

The government has launched investigations into the circumstances that resulted in the nationwide blackout that plunged the country into an almost 24-hour long darkness. Energy Principal Secretary Alex Wachira says engineers from EPRA, Kenya Power and KETRACO are jointly carrying out the probe to ensure there is no repeat of the incident that left many businesses counting losses. As a blame game persists on who is responsible, the lake Turkana Wind Power station has distanced itself from the claim by the energy ministry, that a sudden withdrawal of power from the grid caused the blackout.
