The government has warned leaders from Narok and Migori counties against inciting clashes between the Kipsigis and Kuria communities. The frequent flareups have remained a major challenge along the Narok-Migori border during leading to loss of lives and property. During a meeting with the kipsigis community in Angata Barrikoi area, Narok County governor Patrick Ntutu said he will work together with Migori County governor Ochillo Ayacko to address the insecurity issue at the border to ensure a permanent solution is found. Narok County Commissioner Kipkech Lotiatia added that the frequent tribal clashes among the two neighbouring communities are politically instigated.
