Lenacapavir HIV prevention injectable rolled out in 15 counties

County health officials have today rolled out the HIV preventive injectable Lenacapavir in a bid to arrest the rising numbers of HIV infections in the country. Fifteen counties were prioritized in the rollout of the new preventive method. Lenacapavir is given to individuals who have not had potential exposure in the past 72 hours.
