The 2026 Ligi Ndogo East Africa Cup will be played over three days from the 21st to 23rd August at Ligi Ndogo Grounds and Impala Club in Nairobi. This year's tournament will be played over three days in a family and community celebration.

The tournament, which is one of the top grassroots football tournaments for young footballers, will bring together coaches, scouts, schools, clubs and football enthusiasts from across the East African region. More than 160 teams have confirmed participation, with the draw set to be conducted closer to the kick-off date. Most of the registered teams are in the Under-7 to Under-15 categories. The Under-16 and Under-17 categories have fewer registered teams in one of the oldest youth tournaments in Kenya. Various scouts have been invited to identify young players who are ready for the market.
