Leaders from the Mount Kenya region now maintain that President Uhuru Kenyatta is still the region’s kingpin. Speaking during the much anticipated Limuru three meeting, the leaders resolved that they are looking up to Kenyatta to give them direction and hand over the mantle. The meeting also resolved to have the region form a coalition dubbed Haki coalition that will be their political vehicle into the 2027 elections
