Migori County Commissioner David Gitonga has urged local residents to utilise the ongoing short rains and plant more trees to increase the forest cover to the required percentage. According to the Migori Meteorological Services, the county will continue to experience short rains between 456 to 855 millimetres until the end of January 2024.
