LSK, ICJ, Judiciary condemn excessive police force

The Law Society of Kenya says it is in possession of credible witness testimony corroborating that police were working in cahoots with the goons who terrorised the city during Tuesday's protests over the death of Albert Ojwang in police custody. The LSK says it will also initiate contempt of court proceedings against the Inpector General of Police and Cabinet Secretary for Interior for failing to enforce the court order prohibiting police from concealing their identities while on protest duty. This as the judiciary called for the identification, apprehension and prosecution of the goons.
