Maa community in Kajiado hosts thanksgiving for elders

Thousands of maa community members today gathered at Kidong grounds in Kajiado county for the culmination of an annual prayer meeting that comes after the Maa festival. The ceremony, which is characterized by special prayers entails a thanksgiving prayer for those that have reached 70 years of age,with the elderly giving blessings to the younger generation.
