Rais William Ruto ameagiza kutengwa kwa asilimia 20 ya nyumba zinazojengwa na serikali chini ya mradi wa nyumba za gharama nafuu kutengewa maafisa wa asasi za usalama miongoni mwao jeshi la ulinzi nchini pamoja na huduma ya taifa ya polisi. Rais Ruto alifanya tangazo hilo wakati wa hafla ya uzinduzi wa makazi yaliyojengwa na benki kuu nchini kwa ajili ya maafisa wa polisi wanaotoa huduma zao kwenye benki hiyo. Rais Ruto alisema agizo hilo linalenga kutoa uthabiti wa muda mrefu kwa maafisa hao ambao aghalabu hukabiliwa na changamoto za makazi bora, hasa kwenye maeneo ya miji ambako makazi yaliyotolewa na serikali tangu zamani huwa haba.
