Macky Sall: 'I did nothing wrong' BBC Africa
Senegal’s President Macky Sall has refused to apologise to the people of his country for the deaths and political uncertainty that followed the decision to postpone elections last month.
In an interview with the BBC’s Waihiga Mwaura, the outgoing president confirmed that he will be leaving the presidential office on 2 April regardless of the election result.
Senegalese voters are due to go to the polls on Sunday to elect a new head of state.
