Made in Kenya: Kisumu venture crafts eco-friendly energy-saving jikos

Kisumu County has stepped up efforts to sustainably manage waste, especially within the populous Kisumu City. This includes the establishment of Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) and partnering with private enterprises. One such enterprise is Olex Techno, a venture making energy saving cookstoves that use non-carbonised briquettes made from waste.
