A Makadara Law court has denied bail to three Kenyans and 2 Ugandans charged with robbery with violence. The five were arrested following an incident on the 25th July 2024 at Patent Steel Makers manufacturers in Kamulu, Nairobi County which resulted in the death of the company’s security officer.At the same time the court freed Hassan Maina Muriithi who was also charged with the offence of the alleged handling of stolen properties from the same company, citing insufficient evidence for him to be detained in custody. The suspects who were detained are Elly Abwasi, Josphat Gichoya, James Wachira, Derrick Namukowa, Brian Murajje.
