MAMA IDA INTERVENES Mama Ida Odinga, the wife of the former late Prime Minister Raila Odinga has called for ceasefire and end to hostilities within the ranks of the Orange Democratic Movement. In what appears to be her pronounced role in the party post Raila’s leadership of the ODM Party, Mama Ida called on those leading the party to reflect deeply and sincerely on Raila’s dream for the party and the country. This even as a section of the party leadership continued to insist that the party would only back President Ruto’s re-election bid.
