A Kericho court has ordered a 46-year-old man accused of defiling a one-and-a-half-year-old girl in Chesingoro in Bureti to remain in custody for 14 more days Resident Magistrate Claire Odunga granted the extension to allow completion of medical and forensic investigations. The suspect will be held at Litein Police Station where he has been since Friday as the minor remains hospitalized. The court session drew concerned locals and several leaders who want the case expedited.
