Mandera County Governor pledges to reduce maternal mortality rate

MATERNAL MORTALITY Mandera County Governor Mohamed Khalif has pledged to reduce the maternal mortality rate in the region to zero. Speaking to Channel one , Governor Khalif said his administration has made significant progress in reducing the maternal mortality rate in the last 3 years. He further said that his administration will put in place modern new renal units in all six sub-county hospitals to decongest Mandera level 5 hospital.
