Marsabit County Senator Mohamed Chute wants the ongoing investigations over the edible oils scandal at the Kenya National Trading Corporation made public. The scandal led to the loss of over Ksh6.5 billion. The senator has alleged there are influential individuals tampering with the probe. The Directorate of Criminal Investigation and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission have also been investigating the matter for fraud and other offences.
