The political future of Kericho Governor Erick Mutai is now in the hands of county assembly members following the tabling of an impeachment motion against him in the county assembly. The motion, by Sigowet Ward MCA Weldon Rogony, accuses the governor of gross violations of the constitution, abuse of office and sexual related offences. Majority Leader Philip Rono said the governor has seven days to respond to these allegations.
