The Media Council of Kenya has filed a suit demanding compensation for the injured journalists and the replacement of all the destroyed Media equipment by the proprietor of the Kettle House Club and the individual perpetrators. The move comes barely two days after 11 employees of the said Club who assaulted journalists covering a NACADA raid at the club were charged at a Milimani court and a warrant of arrest issued against 10 others who failed to honor court summons.
