Met Department: Long rains to continue for five more days

Yesternight’s heavy rains pounding different parts of the country has left with it a trail of destruction, particularly in Waithaka Dagoreti South where homes have been submerged and properties worth thousands of shillings destroyed. The already predicted next 5 days of heavy rains are threatening to submerge 11 villages in Tana Delta flooding over 10 acres of watermelon farms
