Waziri wa usalama wa taifa Prof. Kithure Kindiki ametoa onyo kali kwa madaktari wanaogoma akisema serikali itawachukulia hatua kali wale watakaovunja sheria wakishiriki katika mgomo haramu. Kwenye taarifa, Kindiki alionya kwamba mikusanyiko au maandamano yalioandaliwa kinyume cha sheria hayaruhusiwa na kuwaonya wale wanaoshiriki mgomo dhidi ya kutishia kutatiza utoaji huduma za matibabu au kuwakuvuruga wenzao ambao hawashiriki katika mgomo. Onyo hilo linajiri huku hospitali ya matibabu maalum na utafiti ya chuo kikuu cha Kenyatta ikitangaza kwamba imeajiri madaktari watano kutoka Ethiopia, Tanzania na Malawi kuhudumu katika kituo cha kutibu wagonjwa wa saratani huku athari za mgomo huo zikianza kubainika.
