Extreme weather conditions and lack of food and water is pushing some teachers from their workstations in Nyatike, Migori County. The teachers are opting out of the region and moving to other areas for survival with others seeking transfers. But that’s not all, poor infrastructure in some schools has left learners badly exposed to the vagaries of weather, and a workforce that simply won’t withstand certain extremes.
