Minarani Landing Site Conflict: Dispute between a local investor and a Chinese company over a pier

A dispute is brewing at Mnarani beach landing site in Kilifi town between a local investor turned boat builder and a Chinese company over the ownership of a pier. Kilifi County Beach Management Unit Chairperson Mohamed Shosi claims the local investor had obtained all legal documents to utilize the pier to construct the vessels that are to be distributed to local fishermen under the Blue Economy project.
