Ministry of ICT, stakeholders invest Ksh.300M to host Connected Africa Summit

    The Ministry of Information, Communications and the digital economy says it will require 150 billion shillings to implement Kenya’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy. According to the Principal Secretary for ICT, engineer John Tanui, the strategy will incorporate A.I infrastructure development, data ecosystem, A.I research and development, as well as attracting investments into the sector. This comes as the sector gears up for the 2025 Connected Africa Summit, which is expected to attract ICT players globally to explore opportunities on the continent.
