Kenya has taken a significant step forward in the fight against childhood cancer with the launch of a modern Paediatric Haemato-Oncology Outpatient Unit at Kenyatta National Hospital. Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale, who also presided over the launch of an accommodation facility for cancer patients and caregivers supported by Lions Club at the hospital, reaffirmed the country’s commitment to attaining Universal Health Coverage by expanding access to specialized care for children.
