One month after lectures and non-academic staff at Moi University called off their three-month-long strike, UASU and KUSU officials at the institution have announced the resumption of their strike with immediate effect. uasu secretary Moi University chapter made the announcement today in Eldoret citing the failure of their employer to adhere to the terms of a return-to-work formula last year. Despite acknowledging that the decision was regrettable the officials insisted industrial action was the only option left at their disposal.
