Mothers of children with disabilities in Mpeketoni area, Lamu County are calling for urgent intervention to improve living conditions and ensure their children get access to basic needs which include education. The mothers say that they have been subject to neglect and abandonment by their partners upon delivery and they are forced to live in hardship and languish in poverty.
