Mozambique: 'Ruling party will not last till end of 2024' - BBC Africa
The runner-up to Mozambique’s recent elections, Venâncio Mondlane says that the ruling party Frelimo won’t be able to cope with the pressure from those protesting against the electoral results, which he claims were fraudulent. In an exclusive interview with the BBC’s Bruno Garcez, Mr Mondlane said that if the demonstrations carry on for any longer, the ruling party will be forced out of power by the end of the year.
