https://nation.africa/ Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie has said Kenya is making efforts to bridge the gap of data imbalance in artificial intelligence in Africa.
Speaking during a presentation on the need for equitable data representation in the artificial intelligence race at the ongoing Inter-Parliamentary Union General Assembly in Geneva, Kiarie said Africa must call for affirmative action that levels the playing field for inclusive and equitable data representation in the data that will fuel the 4th Industrial Revolution.
The MP added that Kenya is currently establishing 1450 ICT data hubs across the country, which will enrich critical data that can help AI get the right position of the African people.
