A joint committee of parliament probing the public health crisis was forced to adjourn its sitting prematurely after 3 cabinet secretaries and the council of governors, failed to turn up for questioning. The committee took issue with their failure to skip the meeting and issued summons for them to appear before the Joint Health Committees of the National Assembly and the Senate on 2nd of May 2024.
