Public servants could soon be required to seek treatment only in public health facilities if a new bill sponsored by Nominated MP Sabina Chege is adopted. The motion, backed by several lawmakers, directs the Ministry of Health to fully implement the Kenya Universal Healthcare Coverage Policy 2020–2030. It also proposes a new policy that would make it mandatory for all civil servants, public officers, and state officers to use government-run health facilities.
