MUHURI urges journalists to expose human rights violations in Northern Kenya

Muslim for Human Rights (MUHURI) has urged journalists in Northern Kenya to highlight unreported human rights violations in the region. Speaking during a media training in Garissa on Friday, regional coordinator Abdihakim Shurie cited cases of gender-based violence, forced disappearances, marginalisation, underdevelopment, and rights violations affecting refugees and climate-displaced persons.
