Matungulu Member of Parliament Stephen Mule has claimed that Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki's position in the Kenya Kwanza administration is under threat, alleging that political realignments ahead of the 2027 General Election could see the post handed to an ODM nominee.
Mule urged Kindiki to prepare for an early political exit, claiming the ruling coalition's next running mate will come from ODM.
He also expressed confidence that a Kalonzo Musyoka–Edwin Sifuna presidential ticket would defeat President William Ruto in the 2027 General Election.
