Traffic along Magadi road came to a standstill with vehicles using alternative routes, after students from multimedia university of kenya who were protesting, blocked the road right outside the school premises. The students who earlier today took to the streets to protest the poor living conditions that they have been exposed to and poor management, were dispersed by police officers. they engaged police in a back-and-forth chase, with teargas canisters being lobbed to quench the heat of the commotion. the school administration is yet to comment on the matter, with 1 person being hospitalized and two others being arrested by police. __
