    Muranga Governor Irungu Kangata was hard-pressed to explain audit queries before the Senate County Public Investments Committee. Kang’ata, who honoured the committee summons on Friday, was on the spot after the auditor general singled out poor asset management, cash flow inaccuracies, unused theatre rooms and missing hospital title deeds. In his defence, he faulted delays in SHA remittances to counties, which he said was affecting service delivery even as he pledged to look into the concerns by Senators.
