Police in Mogonga, Kisii County, are investigating a case where a man, allegedly murdered his wife after a family dispute turned violent. The suspect, Nathan Kegoa is said to have quarrelled with his wife after he allegedly found her intoxicated. After allegedly committing the heinous act,Kegoa cleaned the body of his wife and disposed of the blood at a hole within the compound. Relatives describe a troubled household, citing land disputes, claims of abuse and substance use. Police and detectives from Kenyenya sub-county have moved the body to Ogembo sub-county hospital mortuary as investigations into the murder commence.
