The government has vowed to pursue terrorism charges against those arrested for the malicious destruction of government and private property. Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen, responding to civil rights groups protesting the terror charges preferred on protestors arrested in June and July, said their actions amount to deliberate economic sabotage. The CS made the remarks in Nyandarua while presiding over the county’s Jukwaa la Usalama. The 32nd edition of the platform is set to take place in Nyeri on Thursday.
