Muslim clerics across the country have been urged to advocate for peace while delivering sermons to their audiences in mosques and the community at large in a bid to foster national unity and prevent violence in the country.Speaking during a seminar on the importance of peace held in Mombasa County that has brought together imams from the coast region, the organizing secretary of the Council of Imams and Preachers of Kenya CIPK Sheikh Mohammed Khalifa also urged the youths to shun the planned 8th August nationwide protest stating that the president has already addressed some of their demands and should be given ample time to work on the remaining ones.
