Wakazi hao waliojawa na ghadhabu wanaitaka serikali ikamilishe uwekaji ua kuzingira msitu wa Marmanet kusini. Ndovu huyo anasemekana kutoka kwenye msitu huo na kumshambulia mwathiriwa, hali iliyosababisha kifo chake.
