Baraza la madaktari na wataalamu wa meno nchini –KMPDC kimetakiwa kuimarisha msako wake dhidi ya hospitali ambazo zinahudumu bila leseni na zile hazijasajiliwa. Kulingana na katibu wa idara ya afya ya Umma Mary Muthoni, hatua hiyo italainisha sekta hiyo ambayo imevamiwa na madaktari bandia. Muthoni anasema ukosefu wa ujuzi umesababisha visa vingi vya upuuzaji wa kanuni za matibabu na kasoro katika kutambua magonjwa hali inayohatarisha maisha ya wagonjwa. Haya yanajiri huku chama cha maafisa wa matibabu kikitoa makataa ya siku 21 ya kutekelezwa kwa matakwa yao yakiwemo nyongeza ya mishahara la sivyo kiitishe mgomo.
