The controversy surrounding the proposed closure of a major Supermarket operating in the Nairobi County took a fresh twist Wednesday after the Nairobi County Government denied issuing orders for the closure of the Supermarket. While the County Assembly Health Committee claimed to have discovered alarming breaches of food safety and hygiene within the supermarkets, The Nairobi County government and Naivas Supermarket management have dismissed the claims terming them as incorrect.
