Nairobi floods kill 69, displace dozens in heavy rains

The death toll from the latest floods has hit 69 as heavy rains continue to pound several parts of the country. The National Police Service has confirmed that over 2000 families have been displaced by the floods, which caused massive damage to property and infrastructure countrywide. In the meantime, the Nairobi Rivers Regeneration Programme has listed 37 neighborhoods located along major river corridors that are vulnerable to flooding.
