We begin Sunday live at the Nairobi hospital, one of the country's most prestigious hospitals, but tonight, a scene of rather mysterious events. Several people, including an elderly doctor and a director of the Nairobi hospital, are currently in police custody for the second night on offences that are yet to be disclosed. Dr. Job obwaka a Kenya Hospital Association director, Samson Kinyanjui, board vice chairman, and an advocate, Valery Gaya, a director in charge of human resources, and former director Chris Bichage are being held at various police stations awaiting possible arraignment. The doctors’ association KMPDU has now warned that it could call off the strike over the mysterious arrests. The Law Society of Kenya has also expressed alarm over the arrest of the Nairobi hospital officials.
