For long, Nairobi’s rivers have been toxic streams of waste, however, for some residents living along the rivers, hope is flowing again thanks to a government-backed initiative. Jobless youth in these neighborhoods are not only cleaning up their environment, but are also earning a living and giving the river a second chance. Our reporter Alvin Kaunda visited these areas and filed the following report
