Nakuru activists call for stronger Community-Police relations

A coalition of human rights organizations in Nakuru is urging security agencies to strengthen their relationships with the community to effectively execute their mandate. This call to action came during the launch of a new initiative focused on police accountability and customer-centered service delivery.Led by activist Calvin Muga, the group highlighted concerns regarding the alleged excessive use of force by police during protests, which they argue has significantly eroded public trust.
