Nakuru residents have rejected the draft county valuation law that is set to increase land rates exponentially starting January 2025.According to the residents the increment has come during tough economic times arguing they have yet to see substantial development to warrant such hikes. In a notice published in the local dailies, the county government of Nakuru directed the locals to verify a new land valuation roll spelling out new land rates that were to take effect in January 2025.
