The government through the national Counter Terrorism Centre has launched an online information portal to create awareness and tackle extremism in the country. Speaking at Garissa University to commemorate the terror attack at the university in 2015, the Director of the National counter Terrorism Centre Dr Rosalind Nyawira said the aim of the initiative is to discredit violent extremist ideologies and facilitate public dialogue on the threats posed by terror elements.
