Call for the government to channel more resources into promoting culture reverberated during the National Defense College Cultural Day event in Nairobi. Speaking during the event, the speakers led by Kenya Army Commander Lieutenant General David Tarus said to enhance Africa's growth and transformation in matters of culture, stakeholders have to put strategies in place to propel the rich cultural diversities of different communities in Africa and beyond. More than 15 countries participated in this year's cultural event which was commemorated under the theme of mitigating climate change through culture. Timothy Kipnusu reports.
