Parliament has now stepped in to try and resolve the frosty relationship between the National Police Service Commission and the National Police Service. The move follows claims by the commission that the National Police Service has refused to grant it access to the police payroll for audit. The commission says it is the employer of all police officers and has the right to manage the payroll.
