The nationwide recruitment of new officers for the Kenya Defence Forces has officially kicked off and will go on until 8th September across the 374 centres across the country. KDF leadership has however sent a stern warning to anyone planning to participate in malpractices affirming that the process is free and fair. Hundreds of youths who turned out to participate in the process were turned back as their identification cards did not reflect that they are registered as Nairobi residents in various sub-counties in the 3 recruitment centres that served the cosmopolitan county..
