Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has been summoned by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission for alleged ethnic contempt. The commissions’ chair Reverend Samuel Kobia says he is expected to appear before them on the 28th of this month to shed light on alleged derogatory remarks he made directed at a community in his county who have been advocating for the split of the county. As Abdiaziz Hashim now reports there appears to be a simmering rift between Natembeya and his second-in-command Philomena Kapkory who has alleged her life is in danger and recorded a statement with relevant agencies.
